Objective:
Determine the effectiveness of a hand treatment regimen on aging skin.
Clinical Study Participants:
Female subjects, between the ages of 40 to 75 years, in good health and exhibiting aged hands, were instructed not to use any other topical agents on their hands except the supplied regimen for the duration of the clinical study.
Test Products and Application:
The subjects were supplied with two test products: 40 Degrees Younger™ with QStan/D™ Age Reversal Serum and Transform Daycream. The Serum was to be applied twice daily, morning and evening. The Cream was to be applied in the morning.
Procedures:
During the one (1) month study, three (3) visits were scheduled. The first visit established a baseline (day 1). Follow-up visits were scheduled at 2 weeks (day 14) and 4 weeks (day 28).
Each subject agreed to have their hands initially examined to determine if they were medically eligible for the clinical study. Both hands were then photographed using a Fugi Finepix S7000 digital camera. These photographs served as a baseline record.
Color index of the skin was measured using a Cortex Technology DSM II Colormeter. A white light source, measured and recorded the erythema (redness) and melanin content of the skin. Baseline photographs were compared to photographs taken at 2 weeks and at 4 weeks. Any improvements in skin appearance were recorded as Minimal, Moderate, Marked or No Change.
Note: All before and after hand photos are actual photographs taken during the clinical study phase of 40 Degrees Younger™ with QStan/D™. Individual results may vary with use of our products and we encourage you to read application directions carefully before beginning use.
Using a high speed, fine resolution digital camera, photographs of the female subjects were taken of the untreated hand and the hand treated with 40 Degrees Younger™ with QStan/D™ at both 2 weeks and again at 4 weeks. These are the results . . .
